Chapter 8 of the Bhagavad Gītā is interesting for several reasons, one of which is that different commentators name it variously as: the Yoga of Practice, or the Yoga of the Imperishable brahman or the Absolute Truth.
One commentator calls it Living in the Moment.
We should not be daunted by studying something which is difficult to pin down in a short phrase.
On this weekend we will study some of the verses and, most importantly, take time to consider how Krishna’s teaching really does help us to live in the moment.
The weekend will be led by Stephen Silver and is open to all meditating students in the School.
The weekend will start with an evening meeting on Friday 27th November and finish mid-afternoon on Sunday 29th.
The retreat takes place at Nanpantan Hall, Leicestershire.
