Terms & Conditions of enrolment: London in-person and online Philosophy and Economics courses and events

Fees

The fees payable for your course are set out on the relevant page. You must pay the appropriate course fee before joining a class.

Consideration can be given to financial hardship cases. Prospective students should contact the office before the start of term.

Cancellations — courses

You may cancel your enrolment, for any reason, before the end of the second week of term (irrespective of whether you have attended a class). The enrolment fee will be refunded to you.

You are also able to defer your enrolment to the following term. If you do not then choose to join a course, you will not be entitled to a refund of your course fee. You can only defer or transfer once.

Refund policy — study days

  • 50% refund available upon request, up to a week before the event.
  • No refunds during the final week or on the day.
  • You have the option of transferring the fee to the next event.

Refund policy — events & lectures

You can receive a refund, minus a 10% administration fee, if you cancel your event ticket before the date of the event. To receive a refund, you must contact us at hello@fses.org.

If your refund is approved, you will be refunded to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or card company to process and post the refund.

Behaviour

Any person enrolled in a course is expected to behave in an appropriate manner and to show common respect for fellow students. Any student who disrupts a class will be asked to leave the course and will not receive a refund of their course fees. This is entirely at the discretion of the School.

Residential retreats

Residential retreats have their own separate Terms & Conditions, including different cancellation and refund terms. See the Residential retreat terms & conditions.
