Introductory Sanskrit for philosophy students worldwide.

Introductory Sanskrit is offered to those students on Philosophy courses in the School who have no knowledge of Sanskrit. Those Philosophy students with some knowledge may join at the appropriate level of the Foundation Course.

New York is generally 5 hours behind UK and Ireland, Western and Eastern Australia are generally 8 to 9 or 10 to 11 hours ahead respectively, and South Africa is 1 or 2 hours ahead.

Foundation Course

The course starts gently with the alphabet, continuing with simple sentences, stories, pronunciation, chanting, grammatical concepts, basic sandhi and some philosophy.
