Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants.

Held under Justice. The right ordering of things, in the soul and in the city.

Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.

Justice means minding one's own business and not being a busybody.

The heaviest penalty for declining to rule is to be ruled by someone inferior.
