About this course

Responsibility, the third part of Economics with Justice, follows on naturally from Ideas. Over ten weeks it explores our responsibilities, individual and collective, as human beings in the world.

Responsibility, our ability to respond, bears on every economic relationship, both with one another and with the world we live in. The course considers what supports this ability to respond: understanding, a sense of empathy and interconnectedness, and the recognition of wholeness or unity. This applies as much to communities and nations as to individuals.
