What we’ll cover in this session
Almost 2000 years ago, Epictetus drew conclusions that today influence the modern practice of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. We also explore the story of Vice Admiral Stockdale, held in captivity in Vietnam in 1965, who survived by remembering Epictetus. We also revisit Marsilio Ficino to consider his wise words on love.
