Online Economics with Justice
We are pleased to be able to offer the introductory economics program for new enrolments via an on-line classroom so that you can participate in real time from your home. And for spring 2020, it is completely free.
Participating in the online course is designed to be simple and easy. The basic equipment you will need is a computer not more than five years old, a minimum 1mbps internet connection, a headset and a webcam. The online classroom is similar to Skype but with multiusers, and the maximum class size is 14. Students have taken part from all over the world; USA, South Africa, Hong Kong, Jordan and Australia, as well the UK. There is presentation of course material using PowerPoint and time for questions and discussion.
These courses are provided by Practical Philosophy Online. This is an educational charity based in New York with strong links to the School. The Online Economics with Justice course is produced by the School of Philosophy and Economic Science in London.
