What we are learning

Dates: Saturdays from 18 Jan
Where: 11 Mandeville Place, London, UK

The wisdom of ancient sages is available to us directly through the Sanskrit language. Its study reveals beauty, order, and subtleties that cannot be conveyed by a translation.

Term 4 of the Introductory Course develops the ability to chant Vedic prayers and to form uncomplicated sentences using simple verb forms and vocabulary.  Students are taught how to use the Monier-Williams Sanskrit-English dictionary and to translate simple stories from the Śrimad Bhāgavatam.
